“We don’t stop playing because we grow old..we grow old because we stop playing.”

Children

I primarily use Child Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) for my clients in the primary years. Using this non-directive approach, I let the child guide the sessions, allowing them to communicate through play the thoughts and feelings they are experiencing. During these sessions, the children are empowered to make their own choices and take control during the session. This technique allows them to process and make sense of their environment whether it be trauma, stress or anxiety. Overall, CCPT provides a supportive and therapeutic space for children to heal, grow and develop resilience while honoring their unique ways of expressing themselves.

Parent/Caregiver Support

Empowering parents through compassionate support and tailored guidance, I offer a safe space to navigate challenges, build resilience and foster healthy parent-child relationships. Fostering a positive attachment between parents and children is essential for healthy family dynamics. My goal is to nurture secure and loving relationships through empathetic listening, communication strategies and attachment-focused interventions. By promoting trust, understanding, and emotional connection, I help parents and children strengthen their bond, navigate challenges and cultivate a supportive environment where each member can thrive and grow.

Teens

Adolescence is a period of rapid physical, cognitive and emotional development. They will face various challenges during this period such as identity formation, peer pressure, academic stress and family conflict. In today’s digital age, finding balance between technology and life experiences is crucial for teens’ well-being. I offer guidance and strategies to help adolescents navigate the digital world responsibly while prioritizing meaningful offline experiences. I provide a welcoming and understanding environment where they can explore their emotions, navigate life’s challenges and develop coping strategies to help empower teens to cultivate social connections and create a fulfilling life both online and in real life.

Individuals

I provide compassionate therapy for individuals struggling with anxiety and depression by offering a supportive and nonjudgmental space to explore emotions, identify triggers and develop effective coping strategies. Using the Gestalt therapy approach, which focuses on the client, I support individuals on their path to self-discovery and growth. Through active exploration of thoughts, feelings and behaviors, I foster awareness, insight and personal integration. By focusing on the ‘here and now’, I empower clients to release past patterns, embrace authenticity and cultivate meaningful connections with themselves and others, leading to profound transformation and lasting positive change.
